While <a href=\"https:\/\/sixelevenbpo.com\/blog\/quality-assurance-vs-quality-control\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA)<\/a> are the most common-knowledge terms and processes, they\u2019re also the most interchangeable ones. What\u2019s the difference?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">QA is the proactive set of activities that ensures the <a href=\"https:\/\/sixelevenbpo.com\/blog\/quality-assurance-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quality of the processes<\/a> by which products are developed. Hence, it focuses on finding defects and errors in the processes used to make the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">QC, on the other hand, refers to the reactive set of activities used to identify defects or errors in the actual products manufactured. They ensure that the company maintains the highest quality of products produced and the satisfaction of their customers.
